Private AI for oil, gas and energy companies in Oman
Engineering knowledge in energy companies is spread across technical reports, HSE procedures, contracts, vendor manuals and scanned well files that few people know how to find. Falaj answers questions from all of it, with the source attached, on a server inside your own network.
What changes for your teams
- Procedures found in seconds. Field and office staff get the exact step from the current HSE procedure or operating manual, with the document and section named.
- Reports that answer back. Ask across years of technical and inspection reports instead of opening them one by one.
- Contracts and obligations in view. See what a contract commits you to, and compare a new version with the previous one to see what changed.
- Knowledge that stays when people leave. What experienced engineers wrote down remains easy to find for the people who replace them.
- Only the right people see sensitive data. Reservoir, commercial and partner information follows your access rules.
Why it has to stay on your network
Reservoir data, commercial terms and partner information are among the most sensitive material a company holds, and many operating agreements restrict where it may be processed. Falaj runs on a server in your own facility in Oman and works with no internet connection, so nothing is sent to an outside AI provider.
We have also built specialised private systems for the sector. For Smarttec, we built a system that understands their technical documentation and patented technologies and models how each technology would perform across different oil fields.
Questions your engineers might ask
- What is the isolation procedure before maintenance on the export pumps?
- Which inspection reports since 2019 mention corrosion on the Block 6 flowlines?
- What does the drilling contract say about liability for lost-in-hole equipment?
- What changed between revision 3 and revision 4 of the permit-to-work procedure?
Common questions
Can Falaj read old scanned well files and reports?
Yes. Scanned and photographed documents, in Arabic or English, are read and become searchable alongside your digital files.
Does Falaj need an internet connection on site?
No. It runs entirely on a server inside your network, which also suits sites with limited connectivity.
Can it connect to our existing document systems?
Falaj reads from shared drives, archives and business systems where they already are. Nothing needs to be moved, and new documents are taken in as they arrive.
